IV Extractors
Table of contents
Description
IV Extractors are specialized tools that harvest perfect Individual Values (IVs) from Pokémon and convert them into IV Candies. When used on a Pokémon, they extract all stats with maximum IVs (31) and create corresponding candies, while reducing those IVs back to 1.
Core Concepts
Extraction Process
IV Extractors work by analyzing a Pokémon’s IVs and extracting only the perfect stats (those with a value of 31). Each extracted IV becomes an IV Candy that can be used on other compatible Pokémon.
| Process Step | Description | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 🔍 IV Analysis | Scans the target Pokémon for perfect IVs (31) | Identifies all stats at maximum value |
| ⚡ Extraction | Removes perfect IVs from the Pokémon | Reduces extracted IVs to 1 |
| 🍬 Candy Creation | Converts extracted IVs into candies | Creates targeted IV candies for each extracted stat |
| 📦 Inventory Addition | Adds created candies to player inventory | Provides immediately usable IV enhancement items |

Tips and Best Practices
Efficient Extraction
- Target Perfect Pokémon: Focus on Pokémon with multiple perfect IVs
- Type Matching: Use appropriate extractor types for maximum compatibility
- Inventory Management: Ensure sufficient inventory space before extraction
Strategic Considerations
- Irreversible Process: Extraction permanently reduces the source Pokémon’s IVs
- Candy Value: Created candies are often more valuable than the source IVs
- Timing Matters: Extract before releasing or storing Pokémon permanently
Resource Management
- Rare Extractors: Save Legendary/Mythical extractors for high-value targets
- Common Extractors: Use Elemental extractors for regular IV redistribution
- Extraction Planning: Consider which Pokémon benefit most from specific IV types
